Founded in 2009, Jining Confucius International School, known as JCIS, is a government-owned K-12 school, located in the New City of Science and Technology of the Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone of Jining. There are 209 classes with more than 7700 students currently on campus which covers an area of nearly 203 acres in the main campus, and 213 acres in the middle school campus. The faculty consists of 31 international teachers as well as 837 Chinese teachers, most of whom are young specialists and experts in their field.
